Hotels Historic Downtown District

„Room service dinner...perfect!“

„We booked Jere because everything else was taken that was in downtown. The hotel is ok. Breakfast was decent with some variety in terms of protein and fresh fruit. The tvs are out dated so we couldn’t watch Netflix and the property is spread out over 4 buildings at 3 different intersections.“

„Amazing breakfasts, friendly staff, best location“

„I visited in June and was very grateful for the air conditioned room. A lovely setting. Wonderful breakfast.“

„My room was clean, bed was comfortable. It was really nice and central to restaurants, coffee shops and downtown. It was nice having a door code instead of keys etc. would stay here again“

„We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but we did soak in the tub inside our room. We enjoyed the breakfast and feeding the koi fish. Our couples massage was wonderful. The carpets looked dated and stained in the dining area. The other thing we noticed was that the employee’s weren’t smiling, which kinda bothered me. We would go back though. The room was comfortable but the clarity on the tv was pretty bad.“

„Really nice 2 bedroom apartment in historical house-great applicances, comfortable and spacious living and bedroom areas. We were only two, comfortable for up to 2 couples easily. 10-15 minute walk to downtown along pleasant street. Coffee shop around the corner. Very pleasant and comfortable stay , and reasonably priced.“

„The floor felt sticky so I wiped a small area with a hand towel. White Towel came up black in a hurry.“

„Friendly and helpful frontdesk. Not much space for a family of four. Guests upstairs and refridgerator can be noisy.“

„Very cute cottage, 10 min walk to OSF theaters. It has everything you need - full kitchen, front room, and AC for the hot summers! Owner very kind. Will stay there again!“

„Had an amazing stay, thank you!“

„Rooms are clean and have window ac units. Bathroom is a decent size and shower is amply large. Free parking available. No housekeeping offered for first four days and rarely is anyone in the office. On our last day, someone knocked on the door and asked us if we needed housekeeping, but we were leaving the next day so that wasn’t helpful. Desk area is useful and there is an extension cord with multiple outlets by the desk.“

„The receptionist and bartender were helpful and pleasant. The room was not in great condition. The room was very warn and looked much older than expected from the pictures of the lobby. The air conditioner was noisy and ineffective. I was definitely disappointed in the room after reading so many 10 star reviews.“

„Friendly staff, location“
