„Clean and comfortable room. Easy parking. “

„We’re walking the Herefordshire Trail and stayed here for one night. I was a good choice. A friendly welcome. We had an excellent room which was clean and comfortable with plenty of room to walk around. Food in the evening was excellent, with a good menu choice. A good selection of cask beers. Breakfast was excellent a good menu to choose from. All the staff were great. We highly recommend.“

„Lovely hotel, cosy feel“

„Lovely, comfortable rooms. Very helpful in accommodating my late check-in.“

„The venue is currently set up for youth residential events so it doesn't have hotel facilities. Our room was modern and clean with comfortable beds and a good bathroom, but it would have benefited from a few extra amenities. „Gute, sehr saubere Unterkunft im Nebengebäude. Parkmöglichkeit direkt am Hause. Nicht ganz ruhig da direkt neben der Straße. Sehr nettes Personal im Pub, Abendessen war lecker.“

Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs. Breakfast was ok, but ...

„We had a very enjoyable stay. Ann & Baratt were great hosts. Good location for visiting Monmouth.“

„Over all we had a great three night stay. Very friendly staff, good accommodation and location. Our only criticism was that when we ate in the restaurant one evening and had breakfasts the food wasn’t hot and the plates hadn’t been heated.“

„Beautiful location. Great breakfast.“

„We were made very welcome by Wendy and Lawrence on our arrival. We sat outside in the sunny garden with a mug of tea and a caramel bar. We had the entire dining room to ourselves. There was a great selection of cereals available and the traditional breakfast was delicious. The beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. “

„It was our second stay and ist was as good as we remembered: nice room, helpful host (thanks for the short walk with all the little waterfalls) and the best cooked breakfast we ever had 😋“
