By renting the Entire Mangamaunu Retreat you have exclusive use of the four accommodations on site that are usually rented out individually. Each boasting it's own unique design, hiring out all four places together, is the absolute maximum in comfort and space for larger families or groups. There's enough room to comfortably sleep 11 people, with the option of adding an additional double bed to increase to a total number of 13 guests.

Please note - the bedroom in Oceanview Suite and the second bedroom in Surfwatch House can be made up as a king-size bed, or two king singles. Please let us know before your stay which you would prefer, and we will make it up to suit your needs.
Nestled in a peaceful and secluded setting, our property offers some of the most spectacular vistas in Kaikoura. Wander through five acres of gardens, featuring fruit orchards and sculpted native bush. Located on the Mangamaunu coastline, we’re just a two-minute stroll from the world-famous surf beach.
Located just 10 minutes north of Kaikoura, a charming coastal town famed for whale watching, fishing, surfing, and cycling trails, our property offers the perfect base for exploring the area. Mangamaunu Beach is just a two-minute walk down the driveway, ideal for a morning stroll, swimming, or fishing. The beach is also a haven for native birds, dolphins, and New Zealand fur seals.
