„We have stayed at the Hopping Hare a few times. It is a great pub, the food is very good, and the staff are very helpful. We would recommend the Hopping Hare to anyone. Only down side is getting to the rooms can be a little tricky - narrow passage ways and stairs.“

„A place i will definitely like to stay again,breakfast was excellent,outside view from my hotel room was perfect.Bed very much comfortable and the room was clean.was just somehow dissatisfied with their cancellation policy,that instead of them given me an alternative, which was to change my Booking to the very weekend which I stayed in the hotel, I was told there was no room available…and was left with no other alternative but to do a complete cancellation with a fee of €139. “

„The staff in this hotel are very friendly and helpful and helped to make this an enjoyable trip. The check-in was efficient and the restaurant, especially the bar, was a really nice space with nice decor and lots of light. „A perfect stay - friendly welcoming staff, well equipped room with hugh fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Amazing dinner menu at affordable prices, good breakfast selection. The hotel is updated, the grounds are immaculate. Decor in the dining area an bars is bright, modern and comfortable. Internet had a few hiccups, and desk in room was a little small but, aside from this we would return in a heartbeat.“

„Basic hotel stuff is missing: No hair dryer, no toilet brush, no kettle, no tea or instant coffee, 0 storage options - just the floor and 2 coat hangers. Matress was horrific in both the rooms we stayed in. Floor might have been more comfortable. You definitely don't want to walk to the hotel at night as a woman - sketchy area. „The location was great for work and visit alike, The hotel staff where polite and friendly and did their best to accommodate where requested. I would recommend staying there. The only thing is the windows in the tower part of the Hotel have seen better days and really should be replaced, although with the secondary double glazing its not a big issue. “

"Das Zimmer war sauber, die Betten gut und man hat sich wohlgefühlt. Vom Hoteleigene Restaurant ist dringend abzuraten. Hätte ich den Fisch gegessen wäre der Urlaub mit Sicherheit zu Ende gewesen. Angeschnitten und dann kam ein Gestank... Wurde zwar anstandslos getauscht, hätte aber dem Koch auffallen müssen. Personal im Restaurant ungelernt, selbst das Guinness zapfen hat ewig gedauert. "
