    The Commodore West is an exceptional beachfront retreat designed for large families and groups. This spacious 5-bedroom, 4-bath duplex offers everything you need for an unforgettable beach vacation, including breathtaking Gulf views and direct access to the sugar-white sand.

    Just outside your door, you’ll find a piece of local history — the Rachel, a schooner that ran aground in 1923 and has remained in front of the Commodore ever since. It’s a unique landmark and a fun sight to explore during your stay.

    First Level – Open Living with Stunning Views

    The first floor welcomes you with a wall of windows showcasing spectacular ocean views. Gather around the large dining table and enjoy meals with a view or take advantage of the additional counter seating so everyone can dine together comfortably.

    The well-appointed kitchen features a generous prep island, perfect for cooking family dinners or setting up a buffet for casual meals. Guests will appreciate the hard-surface flooring throughout, granite countertops, and stainless-steel appliances.

    Also on this level, you’ll find a full bathroom, a large pantry, and a washer and dryer for added convenience.

    Second Level – Private and Comfortable Sleeping Spaces

    The primary suite is located on the second floor and offers a king-size bed and private balcony access, making it a peaceful retreat after a day at the beach. The ensuite bath includes a garden tub, double vanity, walk-in shower, and private water closet.

    Two additional king bedrooms are also located on this level and share a spacious hall bathroom.

    Third Level – Perfect for Kids and Extra Guests

    The third floor features another king bedroom and a large bunk room designed for maximum sleeping capacity. The bunk room includes two twin-over-twin-over-twin bunks, one full-over-full bunk, and a twin trundle — ideal for kids or group stays.

Perfect place for multi family

We had 4 families with kids stay. It was a great house to fit all of us. Loved that we were sure to on the beach and the kids could easily walk up to the house by themselves.

What great property!!! We had parents, teens and small ones, age 4-10. We had plenty of room for all. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had all we needed. Nothing bad to say about any part of the home. Views were just like the pics....step out the door onto the beach. Loved it all and would recommend to anyone with a large group.

Spring break 2023

Thank you!! We really enjoyed our stay! The home was spacious, with plenty of room for everyone to gather or they could spread out if they needed their own space. The kitchen had everything we needed for large family meals. The porch was perfect for unwinding every evening and the short walk to the beach was absolutely incredible!! Can't wait to come back!

It’s always a great day on the beach

House was great. Access to beach is awesome. Property management is great to work with, I made a new friend. But the stairs are a little much for older folks. Lots of memories made.

Excellent vacation

Commodore West checked all of our boxes. We loved being right on the beach and the covered porches were amazing! We enjoyed watching the dolphins cruising the sand bar and saw lots of marine life. The only complaints we had were some places in the house were not the cleanest but it was nothing to ruin our fun. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice location, proximity to the beach was excellent, and the beach wasn't too crowded, even over the Memorial Day weekend which was nice. Host was very responsive and great to work with. We had an issue with one of the toilets and they sent someone out shortly after I messaged them.Cleanliness of the space was pretty bad. I needs a major deep clean, perhaps even a renovation. Paint chipping, hair in the bathroom and sheets (thank goodness we brought extra), lots of dirt and gunk in the floor going onto the back porch, filthy drawers in the kitchen, and even dirty dishes in the cabinets! Sofas felt damp when we got there, the larger one was broken, and the love seat had a big tear in the cushion. It didn't feel clean at all upon arrival. It's a duplex, not a stand alone house. We brought the whole fam for this one (18 people) and I didn't realize it was a duplex and relied too much on the images of the house when booking. I thought we had the entire house but it was just one side.

this property is great and right on the beach, lots of room, porches were nice. The only thing I didn't find there was a blow dryer, I'll remember to pack one next time. Our puppies loved the beach!!
