It is a couple of miles down a dirt/gravel road, and you will definitely without question need AWD in winter (maybe even in wet weather, as the house is up a fairly steep hill). The road has houses on it, but is very quiet and seemed to have almost no cars driving by. "Sehr beengtes Zimmer, kein Tisch, kein Stuhl. Restaurant und Bar nicht in Betrieb. Für Bodybilder zu empfehlen, die zwecks Training ihre Koffer über diverse Treppen (kein Lift) in ein höheres Stockwerk schleppen möchten. Sehr verwinkeltes Gebäude vollgestopft mit verschiedensten Souvenirs aus der guten alten Zeit des Skifahrens in Stowe. Frühstück: ausgezeichnet. Gute Restaurants in Gehdistanz. Over all: Für 1 Übernachtung im Sommer, ok (in der Wintersaison wohl anders zu bewerten)."
