„This was a wonderful experience, very friendly staff who were always ready to help, offering glasses of chilled water in the spacious and well-furnished public rooms and alcohol in the evenings. We stayed in the large Shakespeare room, often used as a Bridal Suite. The spa is great, with a good sized pool, a jacuzzi and unusual sauna. Really good breakfasts served in bedrooms and at the nearby sister-hotel Milsoms. The fine dining at the main restaurant on the nearby River Stour was sublime, ...

„Frisch renoviertes, sehr gemütliches, sehr sauberes Zimmer mit tollem Bad untern Dach in sehr altem Pub. Zuwegung über alte Treppen im Hause etwas abenteuerlich. Die Frühstücksutensilien standen in einem Picknick-Korb im Zimmer bereit zur Selbstbedienung incl. kleinem Kühlschrank für Milch und Obst. Wir fanden's witzig. Beeindruckend: der Haushund Cyrus, ein grauer freundlicher Riese ! “
