„We had a great time at Rectory Manor, a lovely old georgian country house set in mature garden of trees and lawn with a swimming pool and tennis court if you want some exercise. Our room (the Hudson) was furnished in the country house style and was supremely comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom was a bit small and slightly dated. The bath was too small to properly soak. On the plus side we had an unexpected balcony that caught the morning sun whilst giving beautiful country views ...

„Visually the place makes a very good impact. Dinner, the food was excellent as were the staff. Breakfast … we’d booked it at check in. We turned up to breakfast and there was nothing booked , the service at breakfast was okay , we did have to case up something. But overall we had a very good stay and would return.“

Die Unterkunft wird viel von Montagearbeitern genutzt und sieht leider dementsprechend aus. Mit wenig Aufwand könnte man einige Sachen wieder in Ordnung bringen. „Lovely rustic pub / hotel. Room was great with the most comfortable bed I’ve slept in for some time. Kitchen was closed for refurbishment but only a short walk into the centre of the village. Good choice of cask ales in the bar. Will stop here again if work brings me back to the area“

„Dies war mein dritter Aufenthalt im North Hill Hotel. Wie schon beide Male zuvor habe ich mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr gut, die Zimmer klein aber fein und vor allem sauber, die Frühstücksauswahl sehr gut, die Lage phantastisch. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Freundlichkeit von Julie, sowie der jungen Rezeptionistin/Bedienung. Beide sorgen dafür, das man sich hier als Gast wohl und willkommen fühlt. “
