„The hotel area in the Century Casino was relatively confusing, in an older building. Our room was large, clean, with a high ceiling and a decent bathroom, everything in perfect condition. The furniture seemed a bit thrown together: 1 armchair, 1 small, round table, 1 desk and a cocktail chair. Unfortunately, the internet was quite unreliable, it came and went at will. „Zimmer sind groß und sauber, Frühstück ok. Preis war nicht ganz angemessen für ein Motel am HIGHWAY. Bei unserer Ankunft war der Aufzug kaputt und wir mussten unser Gepäck ohne Hilfe in den obersten Stock schleppen. Pool war sehr stark gechlort und sehr kalt.“

„Honestly, this place needs some serious TLC. I‘m sure, it used to be a prime spot once, but now the floors are uneven, there were no safety features left at my room door (e. g. simple lock, chain), the toilet lid was cracked in half, the AC was duct-taped into the window, so it wouldn‘t close properly (it got quite cold in the room at night), and there was a car wreck permanently parked in the lot. „We had a great time at the Silk Pincushion. It was an easy walk and easy drive to hike to the mesa or get to dinner downtown. What stood out is the breakfast and the company. They hosted and treated us to a great breakfast and the people were so friendly and easy and enjoyable to get to know. We were interested in Golden's history and the home and they were fun and impressive historians :)“
