„Ich hatte Nachmittags eine Tour in der Bladnoch Distillery, die ist auf der anderen Straßenseite, so konnte ich auch die Whiskey Probe mitmachen. Pub ist nett, bei Sonne kann man auch draußen sitzen. Frühstück war sehr gut und reichlich. Personal sehr freundlich, Zimmer hatte Dachschräge. Abends hatte ich hier nichts gegessen, war auf dem Musikfestival in Wigtown, 15-20min zu Fuß, Straße hat Fußweg, ist spät Abends aber sehr dunkel, Taschenlampe leistet da gute Dienste.“

„It was clean and the staff offered to help with any bags or see us to our room. We stayed one night on our way through town. This is an old building. It was exactly what we expected and needed. If you want a new hotel this is not it. You will be disappointed. However, it is quiet, worn but clean, cozy, and very convenient at a very reasonable price.“

„On getting to our room we found someone was already in there, so had to take some extra time returning to Reception only to find our room had been accidentally given away. This was fairly easily amended, with us being given a different room instead but without a balcony. We could’ve done without spending the time sorting this out especially lugging our bags and children around in the process. However, the staff were very courteous, with one lady especially being extremely helpful and making our ...
