„A beautiful house, with a spacious and comfortable room - with a massive bath! (We paid extra for the room with a bath and we’re not disappointed.) It was wonderfully peaceful and felt so relaxing. The bed was very soft but we nevertheless slept really well because of the lovely atmosphere, quiet and airiness of the room. Friendly and professional staff. Nice breakfast - they accommodated me being veggie and asking for beans although it was not on the menu. Sadly brought fried rather than ...

„Wenn man akzeptiert, dass der Vorhang auch bei geschlossenem Fenster wackelt, und sich warm anzieht, hat man ein stilvolles, typisch englisches Hotel mit sehr bemühtem Personal und hervorragendem Frühstück. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.“

„Das Zimmer war klein aber sauber und sehr gemütlich.Schöner Blick aufs Meer, auch vom Bett aus. Frühstück war reichlich und gut. Parken war mit ausgehändigter Parkkarte kostenfrei an der Straße möglich. Bietet kaum ein anderes Hotel. Super Preis- Leistungsverhältnis. Komme gerne wieder.“

„An sich sehr schönes Hotel. Ideal für Wanderer und Radfahrer mit eigenen Fahrradkeller. Der ist allerdings nur über eine etwas enge Treppe zu erreichen. Service top, Sauberkeit i.O. Sehr schöne Lage. Das Hotel wird von Hundebesitzer geschätzt.“

„By the booking, I asked for a room upgrade if possible with no response. Upon arrival, I asked again and there was a possibility to upgrade but only our last night. AND that we had luck as the new room wasn't affected by the more expensive weekend rate, there would be no extra charges for the upgrade. At check-out we were presented with a new upgraded invoice! After explaining what I had been told, the manager then explained that it must have been lost in translation, although English is my ...

„Compared to other hotels in Scarborough this one is a good choice. A friendly and professional welcome, a nice view, a large room. The downsides are the room is directly situated above the bar & garden which has customers drinking, laughing and yelling till midnight. Food is ok, but not great. The friendly receptionist is also a very good escalation manager and took the parking fee off the bill to make up for the noise.“
