„A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. “

Comfortable bed and new, good quality bedding. Plenty of drawers and hanging space. Sofa and desk for daily activities. Tha bathroom had the best walk in shower setting we have seen so far! „Das Hotel hat ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer sehr schön, Bad und Betreuung in Ordnung, nur die Anfahrt ist selbst mit Navigationsgerät abenteuerlich! Da in der näheren Umgebung nur Natur ist, wäre es gut geeignet als Zwischenstation oder für Liebhaber des Landlebens und des Pferdesports. Ausflüge nach Dorchester, Weymouth u.a. sind gut möglich.“
