„Really nice hotel, with supportive staff. I was very surprised with the fact that dinner included a three course meal. The dinner bed and breakfast was a very good value option Definitely better value than alternatives, such as the local Premier Inn, for those travelling through Yeovil“

There is a rainfall separate shower in the bathroom too, handy for both of us getting ready at the same time. „A simple and modest country village pub with very friendly owners who took great pains to welcome and look after me. Arriving late, they had kept a good supper for me. The bedroom was large, clean and nicely old fashioned. The old church nearby chimed through the night but did not wake me. As I left before breakfast, the landlords left me a sandwich and apple. In no way smart and modern but with a very warm and relaxing atmosphere. “

„Nice place to stay - very convenient for events at Sparkford Hall as its walkable in 10 minutes - comfy family room which was spacious and had the essentials with a nice clean bathroom. Would stay again in the future as it was in quite a nice location.“

„What an absolute treat The Red Lion is. I went of pervious reviews and it didn’t disappoint. In fact it exceeded my expectations, what a gem of a place. The Staff were simple amazing, David and Jasmine were fantastic and always on hand of we needed anything. The rooms are so comfortable and modern, the Breakfast was fabulous and the food in the pub was outstanding. My only problem is that I won't have the homemade biscuits that were in the room, tonight with my cuppa tea when i am at home.“

„During a short holiday visit I stayed at the Oak at Dewlish. I was welcomed at the door and felt home right from the start. The room was tidy and clean, quiet and homely. In the evening I enjoyed the food and beer in the pub, delicious. They even provided a small breakfast bag in the morning as I had to leave early in the morning. Looking forward to next stay“

„Das Hotel hat ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer sehr schön, Bad und Betreuung in Ordnung, nur die Anfahrt ist selbst mit Navigationsgerät abenteuerlich! Da in der näheren Umgebung nur Natur ist, wäre es gut geeignet als Zwischenstation oder für Liebhaber des Landlebens und des Pferdesports. Ausflüge nach Dorchester, Weymouth u.a. sind gut möglich.“
