„During a short holiday visit I stayed at the Oak at Dewlish. I was welcomed at the door and felt home right from the start. The room was tidy and clean, quiet and homely. In the evening I enjoyed the food and beer in the pub, delicious. They even provided a small breakfast bag in the morning as I had to leave early in the morning. Looking forward to next stay“

„The hotel was welcoming and the room was spacious, and comfortable, if a little stuffy. It was at the top of the building and the windows would only open a little. The room would have been less stuffy had the windows been opened before we arrived, and the blinds drawn. It was clean, and the linen was all good. All in all, a pleasant stay.“

„Das Hotel hat ein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Freundlicher Empfang, Zimmer sehr schön, Bad und Betreuung in Ordnung, nur die Anfahrt ist selbst mit Navigationsgerät abenteuerlich! Da in der näheren Umgebung nur Natur ist, wäre es gut geeignet als Zwischenstation oder für Liebhaber des Landlebens und des Pferdesports. Ausflüge nach Dorchester, Weymouth u.a. sind gut möglich.“
