Location is five stars, but:
- heavy black mold in the 2x2 shower was really bad, from the ground to the ceiling
- entire apartment was filthy, from furniture to the walls, looks like a run down motel with dirty air conditioners.
- after notifying the Host of the mold and health issue allergies, they sent someone next day to spray bleach on the black mold. They didn’t clean it, we just smelled all of our trip.
- walls a thin enough to hear the water going down the drain pipes, you can hear everything.
- The mattress was extremely poor quality — it had no cushioning at all, just exposed springs you could feel and even grab with your fingers. It sagged in the middle and the springs poked through, making it nearly impossible to sleep on.
- to top it off, our bag was stolen. We had a summer hat in the green beach bag, the hat was removed from the bag and the bag was taken by who ever was in our apartment.
This was our worst stay and did not do justice to our vacation, which was very upsetting. Wild part is Expedia said they can’t do anything about it, they only process payments and any refunds or cancellations after check in, you have to deal with the host. Expedia nor the host helped in anyway. We were very surprised.
