TOP Lage, für Anspruchslose und Kurzreisen geeignet

Check-in war easy und termingerecht, die Lage der Wohnung ist mit 8 Gehminuten vom Bahnhof ideal für Leute, die gut zu Fuß sind. Von der Wohnung gelangt man zu Fuß in 12 Minuten ins Stadtzentrum. Die Bilder der Wohnung entsprechen der Realität. Was allerdings nirgendwo steht, ist daß noch Kurtaxe nachverlangt wird. Weiterhin ist die Wohnung für 7 Personen angegeben, es sind aber am Tisch nur 4 Stühle vorhanden, in der Küche gibt es 2 Teetassen und die Essteller reichen gerade mal so, nicht aber wenn man etwas selbst kochen wollte. Wer kleiner als 1,8 m groß ist, gelangt an die Teller nur, wenn er auf einen Stuhl steht, die Hocker um den Küchentisch sind relativ wackelig. Das Wasser in der Dusche läuft extrem schlecht ab, da könnte man mal eine Reinigung durchführen. Wer in einem der innenliegenden Zimmer schläft, wird keine ruhige Nacht haben, weil das Klimagerät vor dem Fenster so laut ist, daß man vorher eine Flasche Wein getrunken haben muß, um dort gut schlafen zu können. Wie gesagt, wenn man nicht wirklich anspruchsvoll ist, alles gut. Dafür jedoch ist der Preis relativ hoch, also das paßt so nicht wirklich zusammen.

Vacation in Florence

We had a very nice stay in Florence. Jianluca is a fantastic host. He replied to my messages in minutes. We were met in Florence by his agent Leonardo who introduced us to the property. It’s an old building which is renovated and has all the necessary amenities, very clean and comfortable. It’s located minutes away from historic center. We will definitely stay again.

Comfortable and cute, but not for everybody

The apt is as described, clean and cute theme rooms, 2 adequate bathrooms and air conditioned. It is a 3 story walk up, so do not plan on any heavy luggage as there is no first floor storage or check out day storage available. Otherwise the apt was comfortable, but noted there is no living room, so if you are seeking a place to sleep and have coffee and breakfast this is a suitable spot for you. There are lots of restaurants and coffee shops nearby, it is also near the river Arno, it is about a 15 minute walk to the center of Florence. The host was available by text if needed.

Very large apartment but needs improvements

We enjoyed our time in Florence, however there were several things we didn’t like about the apartment. It’s on the third floor with very steep steps, all of us of different ages had to stop a few times to get to the top! In the main bathroom there was a strong sewer smell The light/window/curtains were an issue in every room.No proper curtains and as a result every room was too light, even the ones with shutters. In the small room you could not get dressed with the light on as neighbours above would be able to see you. The noise above, below, to the side and outside the biggest bedroom was bad and resulted in very disturbed nights’ sleep for all of us. Looking out into the light well, the outside of the property was in poor condition Generally the apartment is nicely furnished and decorated, it is clean and in a reasonably good location but there are too many negatives for me to book it again.

Beautiful Firence stay

The place was well located, less than 10 minutes from the train station and close to many of the monuments and museums. Everything was in place and the bedrooms were very confortables. I would only recommend installing a washing machine for the convenience of travellers.

Clean, neat and tidy. Well presented rooms. Nice kitchen with fridge, cooking equipment and high table to gather around. Great location and nice neighbourhood Great communication from host. Perfect!

Everything about this property was perfect! The rooms were spacious and so clean, the AC did its job once we fired it up, the water pressure and temp was excellent, and the location couldn't be beat! We were an eight-minute walk from the train station and the Duomo, there are several great restaurants and coffeeshops nearby, and the river is a couple blocks away if you want a romantic evening walk. We just loved this property and couldn't be more grateful for Gian's flexibility, communication before the trip, and responsiveness to our questions while we were there!

Very nice accommodations with the location being central to everything Florence has to offer. Only downside was hat the 3 floor walk up can be tough with luggage and no terrace or balcony to cool off and gather as a group. The unit was very clean and comfortable. Place was convenient location , clean & well furnished. AC was marginal in 3 of 4 bedrooms & non-existent in balance. Nice place, but 4 flights up was more than expected & made hauling luggage difficult. Not for the unfit, but worked out well for our group. Large front bedroom with table was good for gathering.

Don't Rent This Unit or Use VRBO

This review is for both the property and VRBO as a whole. In preparing for our once in a lifetime family trip to Italy, we wanted to use an American based rental company in case we needed to rely on customer service support. Inevitably, we got the complete opposite. We chose this property for its location, advertised amenities, and overall positive reviews. The property listed as having a laundry washer and being air-conditioned, an important amenity for the 95 degrees and 80% humidity during our stay. Upon arrival, we found no laundry washer and the property manager stated they just had it removed and forgot to update the listing on the website. The kitchen, hallway bathroom, and one out of the four bedrooms are not air-conditioned. Because of this and the extreme heat during our stay, the kitchen and one bedroom couldn't even be used (we paid extra to use the fourth bedroom). We filed a complaint with VRBO during our stay and were initially told that they would follow-up with the property owner/manager and come up with a resolution. Four weeks later, we've spent hours on over five phone calls to follow-up with VRBO customer complaint section and all they do is give us the run around and false promises. Do not rent with VRBO as they will look out for the property owner more than the rental customer.

Short stay in Firenze

Only stayed one night with my family of 5. The host was easy to reach and communicated very well. The place was quite good sized and all rooms were recently renovated. My kids enjoyed having their own rooms, although one room was small and did not have A/C. The extra pillows did not have pillow cases either. Other than that everything was very nice and clean. Please note there was no living room area as the apartment is essentially a collection of bedrooms and a kitchenette. Additional things to share are that Google maps took me to the wrong location when entering the address, which was a bit stressful when checking in. Also, the apartment is on the 3rd floor with no elevator so if you have a lot of bags it could be challenging.
