We drove down from out of state to stay for the Christmas holiday. When we arrived at the property, we walked up to the back door as directed and saw a window busted out that was laying on the ground and the window was boarded up. We thought “oh that must have just happened.” When you walk in, there is landing area with 2 apartment doors. We went into ours and everything was super clean but a little disappointed with the fact there was no TV in either bedroom. The second bedroom bed looked slanted and my daughter said it was really uncomfortable. The first and only night we slept there, we barely got any sleep because the unit above us had 2 large dogs. Normally this wouldn’t be an issue except this building is historic and has no insulation and we couldn’t turn on the TV to try and drown out the noise because there wasn’t one in the room. All we hear are the dogs running around. The next day we go to get breakfast and when we come back someone had left the entry door unlocked so that was not a safe feeling. I message the host and he was very apologetic and communicative, he told me he would contact the home owner but I never heard anything back. So I washed the coffee cups I used took out any trash and we left. We had to rent a hotel on Christmas Day so we spent another 300 to finish our stay before we came back home.
