„Wir hatten einen rundum wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem sehr gut ausgestatteten Haus. Wir konnten abends am Lagerfeuer sitzen, in der sehr gut ausgestatteten Küche kochen und auf der Schaukel auf der Veranda sitzen. Wir waren 11 Personen und hatten ausreichend Platz um zusammen an dem ausziehbaren Tisch zu essen. Wir haben auch sehr gut geschlafen.Das Haus liegt an einem Highway, aber das stört nicht, da der Garten nach hinten geht. “

„It’s not easy driving up the windy mountain road to Betty and Howard’s place. Yet once you arrive, it’s absolutely worth it. The setting is beautiful. The neighborhood is terrific for walking. Most mornings at least a couple people from our group were outside early to watch the sun rise over the mountains.And Howard and Betty are the best! They welcomed us in person when we arrived, showed us around the home, which is exactly what you'd imagine a home in the Blue Ridge Mountains to look like. ...

„The house was beautiful. Very clean. Its an old home and really offered the comfortablè, family feel I was looking for. The mountain views along the main highway are amazing. I will say this; if you're into haunted houses this place definitely offers the spooky. We experienced several things that gave us the creeps, that to us, was very cool. Overall, the stay was 100%. „The property was comfortable, clean, and well maintained. The only recommendation that I have is that it needs more cleaning products. For example, there was no soap for the bathroom sinks, only 1 packet for dishwasher detergent (hardly sufficient for a 3-night stay), and a very small bottle of dish detergent. “

„We had a great stay at this mountain getaway. It was very relaxing for my wife and myself. We also enjoyed spending time with Ripley the goat. The accomodations were excellent and communication with the host was prompt and friendly. We ended up staying an extra night.“
