While we were disappointed we weren't able to fully enjoy Lake Lure (due to the recovery from Helene), we were happy to come visit the area and support the local businesses while they work to rebuild. The property was convenient to many attractions and activities and Bob is an A host.“

„This place is amazingly peaceful. Tons of outdoor activities are within a short drive. Pretty place chapel was the main reason for our vist to the area and was within a short drive (20min) and we were able to make a sunrise viewing with no problem. The cabin was very nice and clean. Definitely recommend giving this one a look if you are traveling to the Brevard area. “

„We were very happy with the location. Quiet, cozy, and the picturesque view from the deck (and the hot tub) was amazing. Not too far from town, we had a fun day in Asheville before returning to relax among the tree tops again. I would not hesitate to book a return stay at this sweet spot next time we are in the area. „I absolutely loved my stay at the cottage it was so private and peaceful . The property is absolutely gorgeous with plenty of room to roam outdoors. So many things to do and explore in the area. The creek in the back of the cottage is stunning and the sound so soothing. I am hoping to visit again. Wonderful place to stay !“

I spent much of my time reading on the porch. Although I could see traffic on the other side of the bamboo forest, I could not hear it.
