„We loved the Bass Bungalow! This place is a gem. Clean, cozy and the views are awesome! Such a peaceful, quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed sitting on the porch soaking in the beautiful mountains and Lake Watauga. Our dog enjoyed swimming and had easy access to enter the lake. It was a perfect getaway for us. “

„Great cabin, clean, plenty of space for a family of 6. Had all the amenities that make this a “home away from home”. As others have stated in their reviews, the cabin is in a remote location, high up a mountain and you need to travel up a steep and windy road to get there. I would not recommend driving on this road when it is dark. Highly recommend it and would stay here again. “

Skiing, snowboarding, tubing, and downtown Asheville were all easy driving distances and offered fun for all!Great location and beautiful cabin atop your own mountain! Who could ask for more!“

„Was clean, nicely appointed, loved front porch that looked out on to lake, comfortable sofa & chairs. Only 3 concerns - master bed springs/mattress was hard and noisy (enough to wake up spouse; nearby restaurant choices were limited; and communication with property manager was difficult.“

„Perfect place for my sister and I to stay while attending the MLB Speedway Classic at Bristol Motor Speedway. The owners are very attentive and responsive, and the cabin had everything we needed. I loved the pigs and goats!! Would absolutely recommend, and would stay here again in a heartbeat if I’m ever back in Bristol! “

„My husband, our friends and pups all enjoyed our stay. Super secluded and serene. Cooked on the grill outside and enjoyed rocking on the porch. Inside was clean and inviting with lots of amenities. We definitely will be back! “

„Great, short stay at Mike's place. Cabin was cozy and had great amenities. Host communication was prompt and efficient. Would highly recommend.Two downsides:#1 - we couldn't stay longer!#2 - dogs across the street are kind of noisy...but that's not on Mike, just the nature of dogs.“
