„This place was a fantastic little escape to the country for my family and our friends. The space was open and inviting and well stocked with everything we needed for a two night stay. I will say we had to take some extra measures for our two year old to be as least destructive as possible, but then again, is there really any space safe from a chaotic two year old? Regardless, wonderful experience! “

„My two young sons and I had a very nice visit to The Boathouse. The lake is well used but not busy and the water is calm. We spent our time on the kayaks, fishing from the dock, and on land with a fire to warm up the cool summer evenings. The Boathouse is well-kept, comfortable, and charming and the hosts are delightful and generous. The drive into the twin cities is very easy. I would definitely recommend. “

„Stayed here for one night as we passed through on a road trip. Great value place with three bedrooms. Clean and comfortable. The AC devices with will for the living room able the main bedroom. Other bedrooms are a bit warm. But the fans worked well enough. I'd stay here again!“

It’s become for us, our home away from home, a place where our shoulders go down the moment we arrive. The owners are incredibly kind and thoughtful in how they prepare for and communicate with guests. It’s always clean and furnished in a way that lends itself to good sleep and relaxation. It’s also conveniently located, within a few blocks of campus, the Weitz Center, or downtown. ...

„We had a wonderful fun filled week at your vrbo. We also rented the pontoon which we were able to use everyday. Really enjoyed taking sunset rides in it. Very nice lake. Plenty of room for our family of 12. Would definitely go back again. “

„ The house was wonderful.We had nice bedrooms and baths and the cabana gave us extra room that we needed. The great grandchildren loved the playroom downstairs.The kitchen had plenty of room to cook our meals and there were plenty of utensils to use. Our only suggestion would be for a large dining table and chairs to sit at comfortably to eat meals together and for playing cards and boardgames in the main kitchen.“
