„This is a great property. The area was quiet and located in a nice neighborhood. The house was perfect for four adults and there was plenty of room for all four of our cars. The backyard is very nice and plenty of room to gather. I would highly recommend the property.“

„It’s a very special place, especially for those who want solitude and natural beauty. The house is a rustic farmhouse. The kitchen is new and very nice. The bedrooms are a mix of queen beds, bunk beds, and a small room with a full size (tight fit). The house is bigger than the two of us need, but the property is so beautiful it’s worth it to us. We do day excursions to surrounding sights, but mostly we hang out on the lawn by the small pond and creek and read, plus stare at the expansive view!“

„Love the look of the stone building. We just stayed one night on our way to Portland. Had good meal at Dunsmuir Brewery Works which has an outdoor eating space where we could bring our dog. It is an easy walk out the back gate to the brewery. Fold out couch is comfortable for a fold out couch, wasn’t bothered by metal bars like on some. Water bed is more comfortable. Although house is across the street from train station so there is noise from the trains. “

„It is a beautiful property. We stayed in the little trailer, glamp cottage and it was so cute. Also enjoyed the private hot tub provided. We did some wine tasting, a flight of white and a flight of reds and enjoyed their fabulous cork and fork dinner. The location is beautiful. My travelling companion said if she didn’t know better she would think she was in Switzerland.“

„This was in the middle of the Redwood National and State Forest. We explored so many awesome trails. It is remote, so if you are looking for finer food and beer, you have to be willing to drive 20 minutes north to Crescent City. This was a perfect base camp for us.“

„The Hobbit House was a wonderful find! It felt like somebody took time in each room to make it like they would want it if they stayed there. Quiet location. Parking right at the door. Central a/c. The hosts are great people who communicated well. We look forward to staying here again. Highly recommend! “

„We came here to celebrate our 50th anniversary with our children and their families. Loved the homey atmosphere. The well stocked kitchen, the large yard, the family room, and the game room were all big plusses. Our favorite sightseeing spot was Fern Canyon. We did miss the refrigerator ice maker not working. “

„Super comfy and accommodating! They had everything you could ever need! Like lots of detailed items available for use which go a long way...tons of extra blankets, a cooler, sun screen, bug spray. Stuff like tht which make this place amazing!!!“

„Things I wish I knew: (1) how far the hike was between the parking lot and greenhouse. I was exhausted by the drive only to find I had to haul my stuff up a steep incline. I would have prepared differently. (2) how you define a bathroom - I didn’t need much but again, I would have planned differently if I had know what you offered. 3) how bad the roads and bridge were - I don’t mind an adventure but had there been a place to turn around I would have done so and slept in my car.
