„We had a great experience and the managers were attentive to our needs. Cleaned and cozy and the fireplace was a huge plus. Only thing to note is although it’s close to the dunes as the crow flies it still takes about an hour to get to driving.“

„I was overall impressed with this space. It was very clean, including the hot tub, which is not always the case when you’re renting so I really appreciated that. The location and view of the mountains is to die for I loved how the house was set up in a way that you’re always looking out a window at the mountain no matter what room you’re in. It really created the perfect birthday weekend for me and my friends! Highly recommend “

„We’ve had a lovely stay with Michael as the host. The tents are clean and comfortable. The bathrooms are clean,well thought out (everything in one stall) and well kept. Even toiletries are provided! Upon arrival Michael explained everything and provided us with power bank and lights for the night. Unfortunately it rained that night, so we missed campfire and s’mores in the evening. „a group of 6 college students were doing the colorado trail and this was the a check in point. They upgraded the cabin for free and allowed us to check early as the kids got in earlier than expected. I would definitely recommend the Texan.“

„These cute cabins were just right; beds were comfortable and had different pillows to choose from, kitchen had basic items necessary for mealtime, shower was quaint and clean. We enjoyed the swing on the front porch and the hot tub. The Wi-Fi worked great, we never had any issues. The host was helpful and kind. I'm so glad we chose this place and would absolutely stay again.“

„Step out the door and you are in the middle of it all. Turn right and head toward S Mountain (awesome trails for hiking or biking), the Arkansas River (watch the rafters and surfers then take a stroll along the path, awesome shopping and restaurants. „We enjoyed this cabin immensely for our long ski weekend. It was so cozy and the fire a-blazing made for an incredibly warm and relaxing atmosphere. The cabin was clean and the kitchen was well equipped to allow us to prep our dinners and breakfasts. The proximity to Monarch, Salida, and the river were ideal. The host, Charles, was attentive and friendly. We will be back!!“

"Grundsätzlich ein angenehmer Aufenthalt, nur leider war bis 23:00 Uhr an schlafen im Zimmer 100 nichtzudenken.Der Grund dafür war einmal das eine größere Gruppe lautstark den Frühstücksraum zu ihren Poker Raum umfunktioniert haben.Dieses wurde dann zwar vom Hotelpersonal unterbunden. Nur gegen den Lärm der LKW in der Nacht helfen nur Ohrenstopfen. "

"Von Umweltfreundlichkeit und Müllvermeidung ist beim Frühstücken in den USA grundsätzlich wenig zu spüren. Dieses Hotel ist aber (auch im Vergleich mit anderen Holiday Inn‘s) der Hammer: Jede Toastscheibe ist extra eingepackt!!! Wahnsinn!"

"Ein Hotel aus den 1930er? Jahren mit entsprechender Einrichtung. Wir wurden direkt herumgeführt. Der Fahrstuhl und die Bar (leider geschlossen) haben schon was nostalgisches. Wir hatten riesige, massive Betten. Frühstück war ordentlich. Im Ort selbst ist nicht viel los, so dass auch nur wenige Zimmer belegt waren."

"Die Rezeption hat mir sehr weitergeholfen, da eine Straße gesperrt war und nur zeitlich freigegeben wurde. Das Frühstück war gut und das Zimmer auch. Es ist nur etwas entfernt von der Stadt, was manche ja aber als Vorteil betrachten."
