„ Very Private and relaxing. Stargazing was the best couldn’t believe how many stars you saw with no light pollution.. Chipmunks Squirels ohh my lol and saw an Elk and a baby walk right by on other side of fence The house was clean and well decorated. It is an older house so don’t expect glamour but everything you will need for a relaxing trip. “

We absolutely loved this location as it was perfect launch spot for all of our hikes allowing us to get early start and make it back for a shower/bath and make dinner before heading out the next morning. Great Sand Dunes Lodge

"Die Lage der Lodge ist fantastisch. Wir hatten einen Camper, der Platz für 3 Personen war ausreichend. Ein riesiger Kühlschrank war vorhanden, ebenso ein großer Herd plus Backofen. Kochen kann man aber nicht, es gab lediglich eine ganz kleine und eine etwas größere Pfanne. Besteck gab es ebenfalls nicht ausreichend für 3 Personen... das Oasis Restaurant bietet allerdings gutes Essen an. Leider waren die anderen Gäste sehr laut, die Ruhezeiten wurden nicht eingehalten. Um 8 Uhr war das Frühstücksbuffett leer geräubert, nachgefüllt wurde auch nicht. Ich würde hier nur wegen der tollen Lage noch einmal übernachten."
