„The cottage is secluded with plenty of wildlife and amazing scenery. We were visited by fox, deer and hummingbirds!The kitchen is well appointed and beds are comfortable. Our host was very responsive to questions before and during our stay.The short walk to the shore leads to a rocky beach with lovely views and awe inspiring sunsets.Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a place to relax and unwind. Make sure to stop for provisions on the way to the cottage as the nearest grocery ...

„Oh did we love this spot! Amazing sunrises and sunsets. Kayaking. Nice spot on the dock to enjoy a coffee. Hot tub (which we used multiple times). Not to mention the family cottage vibes that reminded me of our old Northern Ontario family camp that I spent summers at as a child. I would love to return with family one day and enjoy some more time there. The location is wonderful. The space was very clean and the beds were so comfy! Thank you to the hosts for offering such a stunning spot.“

„This was the BEST cabin rental EVER!! It was so perfect - the view, the grounds to walk on, the trail and the hill on the property. The cabin was fully equipped and super clean and comfortable. They think of everything. We will be back again for certain. Nice to have a coffee on the chairs on our cabin porch in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening - amazing view!“

„Came for two nights, family of four. The cottage itself is very basic and rustic, although views on water are beautiful. The whole experience was negative for us after realizing that we were charged double the nightly rate we booked as well as being charged in USD instead of CAD as we had booked. Rates were changed and charged without our consent. The situation soured our experience considerably. Definitely do not recommend this property nor the platform.“

„Ein wundervolles kleines Häuschen mit allem Komfort und supergemütlich direkt am Bras d'Or Lake. Aileen ist eine liebenswerte und perfekte Gastgeberin. Wir hatten fünf wundervolle Tage dort, sind viel rumgefahren und haben uns am Abend selbst versorgt und es uns im Häuschen gemütlich gemacht. Thank you very much, Aileen. Wonderful!“

Die LTE-Verbindung funktioniert überraschenderweise sehr gut, eine Wifi Verbindung wäre doch wünschenswert. „It was just as we expected and what we wanted—-a quiet remote place—-with more birds than people! We were so lucky with the weather too….water out front and a lovely breeze most of the time. We brought food in and enjoyed fresh fish and relaxing times. We slept well with nearly all the windows open for the night air. The tide came in and we kayaked a little out front. "Das Personal in der Silver Dart Lodge ist unglaublich freundlich. Die Aussicht im Restaurant genial. Die Zimmer sind groß, die Betten super. Die Ausstattung insgesamt, besonders der Teppichboden ist in die Jahre gekommen. Der Geruch in den Räumen ist daher nicht ganz angenehm. Parken ist kostenlos. Der Pool super sauber und angenehm warm."
