„This property was perfectly located to the beach, exceptionally clean and well maintained. We went in October so it was a slower season. We loved it… you could open the door and hear the crash of the waves. Beach access was simple and just across the street. Town is walkable for the most part. During busy season, you probably just want walk most of the time. Everyone was very friendly and will be back. “

„We had the most magical time! We needed to be close to family who have a home just a couple of blocks away- we were able to gather everyone for Thanksgiving at the beach! „The home was inviting. We enjoyed our stay. It would have been nice to know of construction going on next door. That was a bit of an inconvenience because of the noise so early in the mornings...vacations we tend to like to sleep in a little later than normal.. We loved the sleepy town feeling of the island. We would choose to stay here in the future once the construction is finished.“

„We enjoyed this house and the location. It was reasonably spacious, very clean and not overburdened with beach-themed tchotchkes. One particular episode to note: the kitchen sink faucet broke during our stay and the Carolina Retreats personnel were very helpful finding a plumber on short notice to replace it. Everyone was gracious and efficient and we want to note our appreciation. “
