„The cabin was clean and in good order. Everything we needed was there . We only needed to bring ourselves and the food . The hot tub was enjoyed in the evenings after exploring the gorge all day . We hiked in three different areas of the park and came back to peace and quiet . I counted 4 cars go by for the entire stay . The only sounds were the birds singing. If ya don’t mind the drive from town , I highly recommend this cabin “

„Loved the seclusion of the cabin. I would advise 4WD for the driveway, my van made it. It was clean which is a must. It was comfortable and cozy, would recommend to small groups and family!!!Thanks for the Great stay!“

„Our stay at Martin Manor was perfect for our family! We were from 3 states, in town to celebrate two graduations at EKU. Loved the historic nature of the home and the spaciousness that gave us plenty of room both to spread out and to congregate as desired. Situated in a pastoral setting, we enjoyed porch time and scenic views on all sides of the house.The owners were kind and helpful well above and beyond what is normally expected. „Cabin was clean , enjoyed the hot tub , nice big back yard. Our only complaint is there was no living room with couch and tv. “

„We had an amazing stay at Spirit Lake Manor! The house itself is absolutely beautiful, but what truly sets it apart is the breathtaking valley it sits in—nothing can beat that view and peaceful atmosphere. The kids had a blast swimming (yes, even in April!), fishing in the lake, and warming up in the hot tub. One thing to note: I highly recommend bringing a four-wheel-drive vehicle, as the paved road up is quite steep. We’re already looking forward to coming back!“

„Spent four nights with two other families who are longtime friends. Total of 6 adults and 6 kids ages 5 to 10. Overall a positive experience. We'd consider coming back and would recommend the place to others. The inside was very clean. The pictures fairly represented the condition of the interior. The layout was sensible and group-friendly. The narrow spiral stair is a bit of a challenge, but it saves a lot of space. „I loved the cabin! It was clean, looked just like the pics, and we had no major problems! Tons of room, it could honestly probably sleep more than 8 in a pinch, and the downstairs bed is one of the most comfortable beds I've slept in!A couple minor issues, the downstairs doesn't have heating, which was great for my siste“
