„This place is truly a hidden gem, and the staff is absolutely incredible! It should be on everyone’s list when visiting Sri Lanka. The owner is wonderful; she invited my friend and me for tea, picked us up in her SUV since our tuk-tuk couldn't make it up the hill due to an earlier accident, and welcomed us warmly despite our late check-in. „Diese Unterkunft ist sehr empfehlenswert. Leider stimmen zwei Details in der Beschreibung nicht. 1. Das Frühstück muss selbst zubereitet werden, was nicht tragisch ist, da die Zutaten in mehr als ausreichender Menge geliefert wird. 2. Der tägliche Zimmerservice findet nicht statt. Hier muss in der Beschreibung etwas geändert werden. Trotz allem möchte ich diese Unterkunft sehr weiter empfehlen. Der Besitzer und sein Personal vor Ort sind sehr freundliche und in jeder Richtung kompetent.“

„This small and charming hotel sits high upon the hill, overlooking a nearby village and the Oliphant Tea Factory. It's a quiet location, with stunning rooms - which is a welcome change if you're staying mostly in guest houses or big resorts. „Our family of 5 arrived at the villa at 630pm tired and hoping for a good night rest. Pressed the bell and knocked on the door before someone came down from the villa. Realised they werent aware there is a booking for the night's stay! We had to wait for a good one hour before that poor caretaker sort out the stay wt the owner for our booking and then cleaned the rooms. No service recovery and no apologies by the owner at all. Utterly disappointed! “

„The stay in Kent Cottage is probably one of the biggest highlight of the trip around Sri Lanka. The place had a very cosy feel. Didn't feel like I was in a hotel/cottage. The team for 3 did absolutely everything and more to make our stay a happy one. They attended to our needs immediately.
