„It was a chance to get away and unplug from the chaos! With communication, we were able to check in a little early. Sitting outside I couldn’t believe how deafening the silence was to my ears. We will definitely be back…maybe with the kids, maybe not! Haha! It had all you need to cook. No oven but there is a microwave, grill w/burner, coffee pot, and toaster. Everything that Patricia said was there. How camping in convenience should be!“

„There is a waterfall right outside the door and a walking path. The stairs to access the unit are very steep and there are a lot of steps. People with bad knees should be aware.“

„We had the best time at the Jade Pines home! So much thought went into everything in the home. There were plenty of games for the children, as well as a sauna and relaxing patio areas for the adults. The area was also perfect for a nice bike ride with the kiddos! This is where we would love to stay next time we visit SD!“

„Lovely place to come back to after hiking, we didn’t get a chance to use the fire pit but were appreciative of the wood we could use if we did! It was very clean and tidy, I enjoyed coming back and seeing the resident kitty prowling around. I loved how it was close to downtown Custer but not right in the middle of it! I would stay here again if I find myself wanting to take another trip to Black Hills. “

„The place was extremely clean and very well maintained, had everything we needed to cook meals and even grill outside It was located the perfect distance from all the tourist sites and was far enough out of Custer for peace and quiet. The views were amazing from the front seating area and the fire pit was a great way to end the day! We will definitely stay again the next time we vacation in the Black Hills! “
