„Der Dakota ist mit allem ausgestattet, was man braucht. Das Highlight ist allerdings die außergewöhnliche Lage an der Klippe. Die Holzterrasse mit Whirlpool bietet eine tolle Möglichkeit die Ruhe und die Aussicht zu genießen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit .“

„This was such a great property. We spent the days exploring the black hills and the evenings relaxing at our tent. In the mornings deer were roaming and turkeys were gobbling. The nights were cool but the heater in the tent kept it at just the right temperature inside. If you are looking for a secluded get away this is your place.“

„Our family visited for a long weekend. We have 3 kids and brought 2 dogs and it was just perfect. The trail just out back was an unexpected surprise! We wore the pups out multiple times a day. We also took a fun and unexpected helicopter ride because the house is next to a helicopter tour operation. And being so close to the helicopter tours wasn’t at all off-putting. „Our stay at this property lasted all of about 30 minutes before we tapped out. From the front door, we walked down the steps into a dingy basement hallway with three identical, unmarked doors. We could hear somebody on the left, so we tried one of the other two doors at random. The door to the front door unlocked our door, and there was no dead bolt on our door. „We were in Custer for a graduation and the house was a wonderful option for our family. Plenty of space for people and a separate "wing" for our older parents so they didn't have to hear the louder activity when they went to bed in the evening. My mother uses a rollator walker and there was plenty of room to maneuver. We will definitely stay again... hoping for next year at graduation again 🙂“

„We stayed at the cabin and listened to the wind in the pine trees over looking the canyon. We saw turkey, and other birds, the cabin is well equipped to just stay there and enjoy, and the views are amazing. Shout out to Nina, the Thai food is the best. Highly recommend this cabin and already thinking how nice it would be in the winter.“

„The home is nice and in a beautiful location. We were allowed to check in early and departed early. One snafu: housekeeping had not followed the previous renters so house was not ready. I worked with owner and she was communicative and helpful and made monetary compensation for my having to clean. Despite that, we enjoyed our stay.“

„Rooms are quite nice. Owners are very friendly. Price is right. Decent wine and beer is available for purchase. Two issues: 1) no hair conditioner or lotion in room 2) no daily room service which not a problem but when you have a guest staying 3 nights and only provide 2 wash clothes for a couple is a problem. We strangely got 4 towels but only 2 wash clothes. A person is dirty when washing so more wash clothes would be needed as apposed to towels. “
