„This cabin was all we expected it to be. The owners communicated every time we asked a question. It was clean and well supplied with basics. It fit out group of 8 adults and two young children perfectly. Half a mile from boat ramp and great Northern Pike fishing the whole week. Thanks for a great experience! Would definitely recommend!“

„Gooseberry Cottage is set back in the birch and pine forest on the coast of Madeline Island. It's very peaceful, charming and comfortable. I was there to visit with my best friend from grade school and her significant other and meet other friends and family staying at other cabins on Madeline Island. We buried my parents' ashes in Greenwood Cemetery after a small and convivial service celebrating my mother's life as she died last year. We also walked the beach, visited the cliffs at Big Bay ...

We traveled with our two kids and their spouses and we had ample space. We all enjoyed the screened in back porch and identifying the different bird calls. „Staying on the boat was the best adventure. It was easy walking distance to downtown Bayfield. That weekend was Bayfest and it was so much fun. Shopping, food and music. Saturday night there was a big storm, boat rocking back and forth. Still sleep well.“

The cabin provided us a perfect location where we had lots of privacy and a beautiful setting to hang out and enjoy being a family. „This condo met all our expectations for the long weekend of exploring the area for the first time. It is cute, clean, comfortable and tucked away in the trees with a secluded view from the deck.
