„The owner Phil welcomed us on the first day. He was totally amazing. The lodge was lovely. We were originally booked into Willow but had to change to Briar as there was a flood in Willow before we arrived. Dee Dee ensured we still had use of the hot tub which was lovely. „First time we've taken our Labrador to stay in a hotel, they're very dog friendly and helpful with any queries you may have about your stay or the nearby area. The breakfast hamper was plentiful and the food in the restaurant was very good too, we had an evening meal and cooked breakfast during our weekend stay. „This lovely big house had character and was nestled in a tiny little village with an amazing national trust park next to it. You coukd walk from the garden into the park.
