The design and layout of the public spaces are excellent, with an elegant, homely feel, and there are one or two surprising areas to discover, such as the wine room. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, from the two receptionists to those in the restaurant. The quality of the food was exceptional. As a single person, though, I did have a couple of reservations. Firstly, my room, a 'Snug', ...

„This lovely big house had character and was nestled in a tiny little village with an amazing national trust park next to it. You coukd walk from the garden into the park. Also good for walking to seaside (Sheringham), about 1.5 miles and also to train station (about the same). The staff were very friendly and helpful and had the knowledge of the local area. “
