Built in 1966, our ranch style house may be small by today's standards, but it overflows with creativity.
The bedrooms are good size and will have all of the bedding you need to keep you cozy. The master and child's room have tempurpedic mattresses while the guest room has a spring mattress. The master has a king size bed, the guest room has a queen and the child's room has a queen with a twin size bed above it. The queen in the child's room, while sitting on a frame basically at floor level, is the best mattress in the house!
Our bathrooms have great water pressure with fast hot water. The master has an updated half bath while the guest bathroom has more space with a tub/shower. You will have plenty of towels and toiletries in case you forgot something!
We have two places to hang out in the living area. A small sofa with a chair along with a dining table surrounded by 4 vintage Eames fiberglass chairs. There is a third hangout/dining area next to the kitchen, which doubles as my studio. It has a round Eames table with 4 MR side chairs. this room also has a desk should you need a place to work on your laptop.
The kitchen will have everyhting you need to cook as well as a coffee maker with supplies. The washer and dryer are located in the kitchen area as well. Need more refrigerator space? There is an outdoor fridge in the breezeway between the carport and backyard.
We have a large backyard that your pet will love to run around in. Yeah, I said it! You can bring your pet as long as they can mind their manners while indoors. Enjoy time on the deck watching the outdoor TV next to the chimnea when it is cooler. It also has a fire pit if you have a larger crew that wants to gather around a fire. The oversized front porch also offers another sitting area with plenty of shade. It's great to hang out on in the mornings or evenings, but the thunderstorms are the best!
The house has Wifi as well as central heat and air. There are smoke detectors in each bedroom along with Nest smoke/carbon monoxide detector in the hallway. A fire extinguisher is located underneath the kitchen sink.
Our home is located near I-49 making it easy to get on and off the highway. We are also very close to the University of Arkansas at just about a mile, give or take. You could walk to campus if you don't mind the hill.
Even though this is our primary residence, you will have the whole house to yourself for the entirety of your stay. There are no living spaces connected to the house or on the property.
