The living room had a large stained, filthy rug. The couch was also stained. Pillows smelled of body odour. Pans, bowls, mugs, and the fridge were dirty. The floor left our socks black. „A fantastic property set in quiet, idyllic surroundings. A great layout and had all mod cons that you could think of. The pictures do not do it justice and we will definitely be back. Our only issue which was out of the owners control which was a power cut to all of the surrounding area due to Storm Darragh, but they were on hand to do everything they could to assist during it. “

„We absolutely loved this cottage. We wanted somewhere home from home for 23rd December to 28th. It was just me, my husband and our dog. We were spoilt for choice as to places to visit and coming back to the cottage and spending time in the large lounge with the fire going was bliss. We would highly recommend this cottage. The host was extremely friendly and answered all our questions quickly. We will definitely be back! Leaving with extremely fond memories of a lovely Christmas spent here.“

„Wir waren mit 5 Personen 9 Tage im Haus und fanden es sehr gemütlich dort. Es ist alles vorhanden was man braucht (außer einem Föhn). Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Lediglich im Wohnzimmer hat uns ein Sitzplatz gefehlt, die Sofas sind für 2 Leute in Ordnung, aber für 3 zu klein. Insgesamt war es im Haus schön.“

Excellent walking from the cottage or jump in the car to explore further a field. There is lots of information in the cottage of attractions and walking across Devon.
