You will have access to the entire property, as this is a whole home rental. However, we do have some locked cabinets in the house and garage that you will not be able to access. Tampering with these locked cabinets will lead to a fine.
Communication can be through the airbnb app and/or use the information on the reservation confirmation page.
Our private home is in a quiet Englewood East residential neighborhood one block from Rotunda West.
The quickest way to get around is by car. There are several vendors that rent SUPs, kayaks, jetskis, pontoons on Beach Rd. on the way to Manasota Key.
✔ No smoking is permitted inside the home or within the screened pool area. Smoking is allowed outside of the pool enclosure only.
✔ Pool floaties are stored in the garage and should be returned after use at the end of your stay.
✔ The pool heater is intended for winter months and is set to 83°F. Additional heating is available for $25 per day upon request.
✔ This home is pet-friendly for up to 2 dogs. Please request approval prior to booking if you plan to bring additional dogs.
✔ Boat and trailer parking is available—please notify us in advance.
✔ Reservations are limited to 8 registered guests. Unregistered guests will incur a $50 per night fee.
✔ Parking guidelines:
• Up to 2 vehicles may park in the driveway
• Additional vehicles may park on the grass between the road and sidewalk
• No parking on the grass to the right of the driveway
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
NO SHOW/EARLY DEPARTURE POLICY
Hosts are not responsible for Guests inability to arrive or if Guests chooses to depart early for any reason, or if members of Guests party do not show up. NO REFUNDS OR REBATES will be offered. Purchasing travel insurance in highly recommended.
REFUNDS
Your reservation binds you to a specific period of time. Host will make every effort to correct any problem that arises during your stay in a timely manner. There should be no expectation of refund, and there will be no refund or relocation because you are disappointed with the property you have chosen to rent or in the event that something associated with the property is not working to your satisfaction. There will be no refunds or compensation for Acts of God, Mother Nature, acts of war or government agencies, road maintenance, gas shortages, power outages or water outage. Purchasing travel insurance is highly recommended.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY
The maximum occupancy is 8. Any child one year old and above is considered an occupant and must be included in the occupancy total. Rollaway beds, inflatable mattresses and sleeping bags are prohibited. If you are found to exceed the maximum occupancy that you listed on your reservation form it will be considered a breach of contract and will result in immediate eviction with no refunds or rebates.
UNREGISTERED GUESTS
Any unregistered guests, whether nightly or daily, without the consent of the Hosts will be assessed a $50 nightly fee per person.
RIGHT OF ENTRY
Guests acknowledge, understand and agree that Hosts reserve the right to enter property at anytime to investigate disturbances, check occupancy, check damages, make repairs, alterations and improvements as Hosts deem necessary.
MAINTENANCE
In case of a breakdown of any property equipment, guests shall notify Hosts immediately to make the necessary repairs. We can not guarantee; heat, air conditioning, electricity, water, any appliances, television, electronics, etc. No refunds or compensation will be given for failure of the above. Should a repair person make a call to repair or replace a unit that is found to be in non-working order and the problem was due to Guests oversight, neglect or misuse, Guests agree that the repair call costs may be billed to the Guest.
To keep our property in tip top shape we have a lawn maintenance and pool maintenance company that will service the property on a regular basis. Therefore, you may see some people outside working on the yard or the pool. Please do not disturb our maintenance staff, they are there to keep the property running smoothly. All maintenance requests must be submitted to the Host, NOT the maintenance staff. Pool maintenance is scheduled for Wednesdays. Lawn maintenance schedule will vary.
AIR CONDITIONING
Please keep all windows and doors closed as much as possible when you have the air conditioning on. It is very easy to freeze up the condenser unit if you turn the conditioning down too low to compensate for the open windows and doors. If this happens, you will be charged for the repair.
ITEMS LEFT BEHIND
Hosts are not responsible for any items Guests leaves behind in cabin. Hosts will charge a fee of $25 plus shipping costs for the return of any items Guests leave behind in cabin.
FURNISHINGS/FURNITURE
All furnishings/furniture in the house are in place as the Hosts wish them. Guests agree to pay not less than $100 if furniture is rearranged in such a manner that results in cleaning services being delayed.
NON-SMOKING
NO EXCEPTIONS! - The house is non smoking (including all patios, pool, and steps). Guests agree to pay no less than $350 for odor abatement if they smoke in the house or if cigarette butts are left on the grounds.
ALCOHOL/DRUGS
No drinking of alcoholic beverages by persons under the legal age of twenty-one (21) is allowed on rental property. Guests agree that if Guests are arrested for underage drinking at rental properties or if Hosts observe Guests under the legal age of twenty-one (21) drinking alcoholic beverages, this Agreement/Contract may be terminated and Guests evicted with no refund or rebate. Illegal drug use is strictly prohibited.
CONDUCT
Occupancy and use of premises shall not be such as to disturb or offend neighbors or residents, including but not limited to;
