„Ein traumhafter Aufenthalt in einer absolut wunderbaren Schloss-Atmosphäre. Es stimmte alles, vom Service über das Essen bis zu den überaus stilvoll eingerichteten Zimmern. Wir reisen viel und haben selten ein besseres Hotel erlebt. Daher stimmt auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.“

„We had a wonderful stay at Appleby Castle. We were made so welcome by hosts Sally and Peter. The room was adequate for a castle. Dinner was superb, a of mix of prawn and salmon starter followed by main course of garlic chicken. The setting was the in the beautiful dining room. We were the only ones dining, and had the chef cooking solely for ourselves !! Peter played the piano as we dined. Sally could not have been nicer as we chatted. „Dieser Ort hat fernab vom Rummel der Stadt einen ganz eigenen Zauber und lässt einen sofort entspannen. Die Besitzerin ist einfach zauberhaft und sehr bemüht, ihre Gäste in Komfort zu bringen. Sie ist eine sehr freundliche Person und ist ganz offensichtlich die gute Seele des Hauses, die mit viel liebe zum Detail die Zimmer, das Haus und den Garten liebevoll gestaltet. “
