„The cottage was nice for what we needed which was a place to shower and sleep. It was a little further from Acadia National Park (about 45 minute drive one-way). Allen was very kind and welcoming. The grounds were in need of some care and we are pretty sure there was a mouse in the cottage.“

„The house was very clean. It was perfect for my husband and I to enjoy a quiet time within easy driving distance to bar harbor, Acadia, Schoodic. At 6’1”he felt a little tight in the shower. „My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights, both 19 years old, to visit Acadia National Park. The check-in process was very easy, and we got in an hour early which was great. I would definitely recommend having no more than 3 guests as it is a very tight squeeze, but it worked out since it was really just a place to sleep. „Great solo trip option and completely as advertised. Nice spot for getting to the National Park especially the less explored Schoodic Peninsula but not a taxing drive to Mount Desert Island either. Great small town with several eating options along the main road. Cabin was nice for charging devices and keeping drinks cold and refreezing ice packs. Even the portapotty was clean! Beautiful scenery right on the water, nobody out in the bay when I used the kayak. Would highly recommend this spot if ...

„Everything was great. House was very clean. As noted in description there is a second house on the property that is located between you and the water. No one was there so it was just fine, not sure if someone was staying there how it would be. Ability to access kayaks whenever we wanted was a nice touch.“
