„Excellent welcome from cheerful, friendly, helpful staff. We weren't expecting the varied and interesting menu, so were pleased to have the choices we could, and what we chose was excellent. The bed was a bit on the small side, but we knew that when we booked. Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of options. Despite being close to the motorway noise was not a problem. The information on the hotels.com website is wrong - there is a receptionist but not 24 hrs and there is free car ...

„we spent one night there after visiting Chatsworth House. its a nice and quiet house with lovely, clean rooms and a very friendly and helpful staff. the dinner at the red lion pub was excellent.“

„Ein sehr altes Haus, sehr gemütliches Zimmer, mit einem sehr kleinen, aber voll funktionstüchigen Bad mit Dusche. Nichts für Gehbehinderte, steile Treppe und viele Stufen. Alles super-sauber und liebevoll ausgestattet. Sehr nette und hilfsbereite Gastgeber, ein sehr gutes English breakfast und ein schöner Garten zum ausruhen - prima ! Sehr empfehlenswert. “

„This was our first visit to the hotel since it was refurbished. I’d saved up to take my husband there for his birthday treat. When we got there, we were so impressed and our room was lovely, apart from it feeling very warm. We realised that we were directly above the kitchen. It was really noisy, as the extractor fan was so noisy to the point that it felt like we were about to take off on an aeroplane ( and that is no exaggeration ) We were kept awake by the staff laughing outside and throwing ...

„A great stay at the Robin Hood B&B. The owners were very friendly and the check in and check out process were very easy. The breakfast was all home cooked and had great variety for a small B&B. We used it as a base for exploring local walks and Bakewell and it was very easy to get around. Overall I would recommend staying here!“

„Frühstück nur von 8 bis 10. Sehr dunkler Flur um in sein Zimmer zu kommen. Es war an dem Wochenende eine Hochzeit im Hotel, was uns vorher nicht mitgeteilt wurde, daher die ganze Nacht sehr laut. Plus ein Fehlfeueralarm in der Nacht. Es gab dazu keine Entschuldigung von der Rezeption und daher kann ich insgesamt dieses Hotel nicht empfehlen.“

„Was good value for money. Conveniently situated for visiting Renishaw Hall wine tasting and gardens . Comfy bed, and not a bad size bathroom. Rain shower but no hairdryer. The food in the restaurant was really good, not that quick to appear but it was worth the wait. We didn’t like being so close to the road though.We couldn’t get the window to close properly so that it made it noisier once the traffic started in the morning.“

"Wir waren sehr zufrieden mit dem Hotel. Alle waren hilfsbereit und freundlich. Wir hätten uns jedoch über eine insgesamt größere Auswahl beim Frühstück gefreut. Das Angebot an Brot, Aufschnitt, Marmelade etc war ein wenig klein. Wir würden aber auf jeden Fall nochmal hier ein Zimmer buchen!"

Zimmer okay, Service schlecht, Wo ist das "SPA"

"Der Check In war eher unfreundlich und sehr unpersönlich. Es wurde nur kurz über das Frühstück gesprochen wo das stattfinden soll, wobei das noch mit falscher Uhrzeit. Für das, das es ein SPA Hotel sein soll wurde darüber nichts gesagt und keine Information gegeben wie der SPA zu nutzen geht. Auch auf dem Zimmer keine Broschüre oder sonstigen Angebote wie man als Gast das nutzen kann. Das Zimmer direkt nebem dem Aufzug sollte man meiden da sehr hellhöhrig."
