„Kurz und knapp: Wir waren begeistert. Ein geräumiges und sehr sauberes Feriendomizil in guter Lage zum Nationalpark und Bar Harbor (ca. 12 min.) Wenn man unbedingt Kritikpunkte suchen möchte, so sei die Nähe zur stark befahrenen Straße erwähnt, die man durch die einfachen Fenster schon deutlich hört. Ferner gibt es kein Zentrallicht in den Zimmern, seltsamerweise aber Schalter (ohne Funktion) - das hat zu anfänglichen Irritationen geführt, bald aber zu allgemeiner Belustigung 😀 Insgesamt war ...

„We stayed at Otter Creek with family friends over our kids’ spring break and had a great time. The house was beautiful with a fully stocked kitchen, comfortable living spaces, including a game room that helped keep all 5 kids in our party entertained for hours. Located minutes away from gorgeous Acadia trails and Bar Harbor, it was easy to go anywhere we wanted. AND we saw an otter trot by from the nearby creek—a definite highlight! Would definitely recommend. “

„ We absolutely loved our time at Escape lake house in Maine! The setting was gorgeous and cannot be beat. The view is never the same and we loved watching the changing light on the water. The house is as described in the listing and the primary bedroom and bathroom are great. Note that one of the “bathrooms” is actually in a side entry room with the washer/dryer and extra stove, and is not super private. Also, 2 of the showers are very small stand-up showers. But, that said, for just 2 of us, ...

Plenty of room, beautiful sunrises and sunsets. if you are looking for accommodations for a large family, privacy, and beautiful scenery this is your place. our host Eric and his wife have created a beautiful home away from home. My family and I left there with plans to return. We will definitely be booking this home in the future.“

„We stayed 4 nights at this awesome home with convenient access to Acadia and Bar Harbor. Plenty of room and very quiet location. The kitchen was very well appointed with modern cookware and plenty of dishes, etc. The bedrooms were quiet and very comfortable. Bonus; we has an awesome viewing of the Northern Lights! The property manager was very responsive to questions as well. I would definitely stay here again next time we’re in the area!“

"Brandnew Hotel in Bar Harbor with all most modern amenities and thoroughly styled. We were staying for 3 nights with 2 standard king rooms booked on ground floor and got an upgrade to 3rd floor for a huge corner room for the parents and an adjacent big room for our kids. The breakfasts were awesome, not the usual hustle and bustle of a buffet, but a choice of either hearty or sweet breakfasts were served on porcelain at our table with cutlery and cloth serviettes, along with a choice of orange juice and coffees or teas and fruits. Also the afternoon tea and cookie hour was a very nice asset. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay between the year end's holidays."

"Die Zimmer sind veraltet und extrem ringhörig. Das Bett war extrem umbequem. Es gibt in der nähe kein Frühstücksangebot. Das Restaurant vom Hotel hat zwar ab 8 Uhr geöffnet es wird aber auch beim Frühstück die gleiche Karte wie beim Abendessen angeboten. Das Abendessen war gut jedoch schliesst das Restaurant bereits um 20 Uhr."

Location and service are ok, price too high

"Good central location, service is alright, rooms are clean and everything works. Furniture and interior are rather dated and only medium quality. Air condition works, but is very loud. Daily rate is significantly too high for the service and room you get. "
