„My family enjoyed our time at this property. I received a friendly email prior to arrival with clear directions and local recommendations. It is a beautiful house, nicely decorated with comfortable furniture - perfect for relaxing and visiting. We loved the location, it is in a quiet neighborhood with multiple shopping and dining options nearby. It took us about 35 minutes to drive to the Bar Harbor area.“

„We had a good stay at this property. House was generally clean but in need of updates and TLC. New mattresses would be good. Property is definitely off the beaten path which was a little hard to find after dark when we arrived. We did see deer eating apples from the tree each morning which was great. „I loved the concept. However, it was a muddy mess to get back there. I don’t mind mud but you can’t carry everything back with you. I think they could put a path way with wood berms or hravel. I fell and slid in mud so walking back with a clean change of clothes impossible because your most definiy gonna fall i. the mud. loved the animals though“

„I think my communication issues may have been on the Expedia side of things and have little to do with the host. I had a hard time navigating to leave a message and the only messages I received were sent in February, months before my May attempts to communicate. The messages I did read from Feb were hard to access and appeared in faded gray color font with copy and paste nearly unreachable as printing was off the screen of my iPhone. „We really liked this place in so many ways. The location was great for getting to Acadia and Schoodic Peninsula. It had comfortable beds, bathrooms for each of us, nice kitchen but only salt, pepper and some oil. The dishes and pans would make cooking easy but more spices would make things easier. Two problems were that there were no instructions for anything like the TV ( which never worked right) or what to do when we checked out.
