Each cabin is nestled in the forest and features a private sauna, gas fireplace, and thoughtfully designed kitchenette — all overlooking immersive woodland views. Relax under starlit skies by your fire pit or gather at the shared pavilion. Located just 15 minutes from downtown Duluth, 18 minutes from Two Harbors, and a short walk to Lake Superior access, Wildernest is perfect for romantic getaways or authentic North Shore escapes.

Each Wildernest Cabin is a beautifully appointed studio retreat with a private bathroom and barrel sauna, set within the North Shore woods along the iconic Scenic 61. Arranged around a gentle loop road encircling a shared pavilion, all six cabins offer:

Interior Space
• Large picture window with built-in bench framing forest views next to a seating nook
• Two-sided gas fireplace next to the picture window for cozy ambiance & warmth
• Queen-size bed with two nightstands
• Open-plan kitchenette and dining area with sink, induction cooktop, full fridge/freezer, coffee maker, hot-water kettle, and stocked pots, pans, dishes, and silverware
• Dining table and two chairs positioned beside the two-sided fireplace

Bathroom
• Walk-in shower with sliding glass door
• Vanity with under-sink storage and mirror

Climate & Comfort
• Gas fireplaces inside and outside for instant ambiance and heat
• Mini-split AC unit for whisper-quiet cooling
• Radiant heating providing consistent warmth (winter use only)
• High-performance insulation and soundproofing for a restful stay

Exterior & Site Amenities
• Gravel patio with sauna and gas fire pit with seating area for outdoor gatherings under the stars
• Electric barrel sauna and cold water spigot for a hot-cold ritual with forest views
• Private crushed-rock driveway that accommodates two vehicles, with direct access to the oval loop road

Community & Grounds
• Central pavilion at the heart of the loop featuring a group fire pit, picnic tables, and EV charging stations
• Native landscaping including lawn areas, wildflower meadows, and gravel paths showcasing local flora
• Convenient water spigot and a discreet trash station located near the group pavilion
• Clear directional and welcome signage throughout the property
• Please note all properties near Scenic 61 may hear cars passing by

Security
For your convenience and security, you’ll receive a unique digital door code — no physical keys required. Your personal code will activate at your scheduled check-in time, remain valid throughout your stay, and automatically expire soon after checkout, giving you seamless, 24/7 access. Our grounds and cabin exteriors are monitored with active recording to ensure peace of mind.

Pets
To protect the cabins, landscaping, and local wildlife, no pets are permitted on the property.

Children
Wildernest Cabins is designed as an adult retreat with a maximum occupancy of two guests per cabin, regardless of age. While children are welcome, our property does feature several safety concerns for children including exposed sauna heaters, hot fireplaces, an open fire pit, and location on Highway 61. We do not provide specialized children's items such as cribs or highchairs.

2-Night Minimum
All cabin reservations require a two-night minimum stay. This gives you time to truly unwind and experience the North Shore — whether that's a morning sauna, a sunset hike, or simply slowing down to enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

By booking or staying at Wildernest Cabins, Guest knowingly and voluntarily assumes all risks associated with use of the Property and its amenities—including saunas, fireplaces, pavilion, EV chargers, trails, outdoor areas, natural terrain, weather (including snow/ice), wildlife, and other natural conditions. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Guest releases and agrees to hold harmless Wildernest Cabins, LLC and its owners, managers, and agents from any claims, injuries, illness, accidents, losses, theft, or damages to persons or property arising from the stay or use of the Property, except to the extent caused by our gross negligence or willful misconduct, and Guest agrees to indemnify us from third-party claims arising from Guest’s breach of these Terms or negligent/willful acts.
