„Das kleine Häuschen in dem sehr netten familiären Chalet Park hat uns super gefallen. Man hat einen tollen Blick aufs Meer und muss nur ein paar Meter die Straße runter laufen zum Meer. Das Haus hat alles was man benötigt von Backofen über Mikrowelle und es gibt tolle Spielmöglichkeiten für die Kinder. Der Pool war leider geschlossen, dafür haben wir den Tennisplatz und den Minigolf Platz genutzt. Wir kommen gerne wieder ganz lieben Dank. !“

„We stayed 7 days, and I swam 6 of those days. The other day we rode our bikes almost to Reculver Bay and so had no energy for a swim! Beach Retreat is the most beautiful chalet and we loved every minute, especially the twice daily visit from the sea as it tapped the bottom of the gorgeous wild sea garden. We walked both directions on the beach, as well as the marshes across the road. We ate most meals on the deck - at least breakfast and dinner - and seeing both sunrise and sunset from that ...

„Die Unterkunft war gemütlich. Wir haben auf der Terrasse vor dem Haus gefrühstückt und auf der Terasse hinter dem Haus zu Abend gegessen. Der Weg zum Meer ist wirklich kurz und das Dorf fanden wir einfach malerisch!“

„Hidden gem is just that a hidden gem, it's location is easily walkable to the shops, restaurants, pub, the beach and much more. It's quiet enough with maybe a little noise from passing traffic, it's compact but comes with enough space for what you need and I couldn't have asked for a better host, communication was brilliant and she was happy to help with any issues I may have had. Will definitely stay again and recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay near the seaside.“

„We gas the first morning had till 11 am to have a hot drink. When hot water is on the boiler is very noisy. The bathroom was too narrow and the towel hooks stcking out did not help. The oven did not smell right when lit and we did not use it. “
