„Das Hotel ist schön auf einem Hügel in einem Wald gelegen. Daramasala sowie Dharamkot (kleiner Ort mit Hippieflair) können jeweils in 10 - 15 Minuten zu Fuss erreicht werden. Der Service im Hotel ist sehr gut und auch das beheizte Schwimmbad ist an kalten Tagen sehr zu empfehlen. Es gibt leider nur ein Restaurant. Indisches Essen ist dort gut (aber nicht herausragend). Von anderen internationalen Speisen (Pizza, Dumplings, etc.) sollte man dagegen die Finger lassen. “

„The hotel did not switch on generator for about 3 to 4 hours at night when regular electric supply was disrupted. On complaining ,the staff said that as customers did not request for generator supply, they did not switch it on. Their position was that now since you asked for it, we shall switch the generator on whereas it should have been a matter of routine in the event of power disruption. Secondly, regardless of discomfort & disturbance to guests, continous hammering was resorted to at night ...

„This is the second time I have stayed at Buddha's Abode. They had only just opened last year and it is pleasing to see an additional floor has opened up. The views of the mountains are the best in Mcleod Ganj and the location is fantastic for all that the area has to offer. „Das Hotel war leider eine Baustelle. Swimmingpool und Spa noch nicht in Betrieb. Dafür hat der Hotelmanager ein Abendessen springen lassen. Leider hat die ganze Nacht Musik aus dem Aufzug gedröhnt und die Nachtruhe gestört. Das Essen war gut und das Persoal war sehr bemüht und freundlich, wenn auch nicht immer erfolgreich. Wahrscheinlich war ich einfach ein paar Monate zu früh. “
