Gut: Sauberkeit, Lage und Genauigkeit des Onlineauftritts
Location good, property fine, new managers seem unfamiliar with location
It's a vacation rental. There are buckets of paint in the closet for updating the space. Some mirrors aren't hung. The shower head leaks and the bathtub doesn't drain. The washer/dryer are extremely loud and make some concerning noises. Everything besides the bedrooms are tile floors and leather couches so it's all very sterile and easy to clean but not comfortable to lounge around in. The location is right across from one of the pools, which is nice, but it is one of the furthest houses from the beach. It's about a ten-minute walk, which isn't terrible. But just something to keep in mind. We had to communicate with the property managers a number of times. GPS took us first to the half of the property closest to the beach, which required a code to get in the gate. They didn't seem to realize this was part of the property. We then got routed around to our place, which did not require a code. However, the bridge you have to take to get across the lake to get to the beach has a gate that locks at night, which we ran into. Also needed a code, which wasn't given to us until we asked. Again, the managers were friendly, but just didn't seem to know the property well. The good, you can park right outside the house. The beds were extremely comfortable. The shower was great. The not-so-good, it's set up for easy cleaning so it's not super comfortable to lounge around in. There were things that needed fixed. We would stay at Southbay again, but would want a house closer to the beach.
