„Great room And very good food“

„We have stayed at the Marlborough before on our travels in 2025 and when we retuned this year 2026 we wanted to stay again but longer this time. So glad we did everyone one was kind and friendly and new what they were doing. the pub itself and the rooms were excellent and vintage. The area of course is wonderful. All service, food and beverages top class. We plan on returning possibly next year and will likely stay even longer. Thank you.“

„Beautiful setting, very helpful staff, lovely hotel excellent restaurant.“

„Our room was spotlessly clean and tidy. Breakfast was excellent too. Will definitely return, thanks for making our stay so enjoyable.“

„We had a great stay at Leno Villa as 2 couples wanting a short break to explore the local area. We particularly enjoyed the outside space, games around the dining table and the comfortable bedrooms. The house is well equipped and well placed for local trips into Manningtree, Flatford Mill (we kayaked from Constable Park, which is a 2 minute walk from the house!) and Dedham. A sign of a good stay is an eagerness to return and we’d be back in a flash! Thanks to Stef & Team :-)“

„Absolutely beautiful cottage, couldn't have wished for more and Lou was an amazing host. Thank you Lou for making me feel so welcome. I will definitely be returning x“

„Hotel right next to Petrol Station. However quite calm during the night. Good stopover If arriving with fhe ferry in Harwich. Awful breakfast room, Not cosy and very cold. Poor choice of breakfast Options, well it was inckuded, but don't expect too much “

„Beatiful building and setting. Excellent staff. Food 7/10. Its classical which is fine but maybe uninteresting.“

„Quite nice historical hotel with a good management and staff😊“

„4 nights during covid times, everything was clean, nice and friendly staff, despite being close to the A12 and A120 quite quiet Very good if you don't need to be in Colchester, but somewhere in Tendring“
