The worse vacation experience we have had renting a room at the Hawaiian. The ac vents appeared dirty and we were concerned there was mold in the room.The view was wonderful. The kitchen cabinets were hideous, falling apart and barely hanging on. There were a lot of extras like a humidifier, a heater for winter, fans, and sand chairs. The bathroom sink was slow to drain. The microwave was filthy. The drawers were flimsy and small so we didn't bother to unpack. The price was great. However, the code to enter was ten digits and you needed to be quick or you had to start over. Very difficult to be quick with ten digits! Took us at least three to five times and often caused us to panic when left standing outside. We had to take our phones with us even to go downstairs to the pool for fear of being locked out. For this very reason, we will never rent this room again. We live in St. Petersburg but come to the Hawaiian every year so this is very disappointing.
