Certain rooms are not well cleaned or maintained. The manager is never available. Dogs allowed off lead to defecate on the carpets in the hotel and I stepped in it and walked it into our room before I realised and Mo the assistant manager didn't believe me or didn't care . I felt that a Nigerian rugby team staying with them the same time was more importan & I was insignificant by comparison. I Wonder the response they would have gotten from management if one of the elite trod on dog poop inside the hotel. We wasted a whole night and day waiting for a room to get cleaned that we had to move because the first room was filthy and the dust was so thick we coughed & had reactions the whole night. I tried to speak to the general manager but he was never available. Bar staff are lovely, reception staff are working from a script as is the assistant manager and to add insult to injury knowing we've stayed there few times before and the reason being we are only there to check in on my elderly mothers care at home from African carer's who abuse her. The hotel has a door sign that says " I won't have my room cleaned so I can give unpaid carer a free break or words to that effect, where was my break?! This isn't a cheap hotel, the food and drinks are extortionate , the steam room I witnessed a Chinese guy cough phlegm and spit it on the steam room floor, a migrant get in the jacuzzi without showering, all the women swimming also without showering makeup off, very lax hygiene rule's
