„Big house with great sized rooms and plenty space for our 15 adults and 5 children. Hot tub was great. Living space/bar area very roomy and open. The owners were very flexible with the Sunday checkout times which was nice of them. The kitchen is a professional kitchen (for the weekday BnB purpose I guess) so not quite the social space that you're used to in a more traditional house. One of the bedrooms does have a particularly un-private toilet in it, which may trouble some people. But overall, ...

„Wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage. Excellent facilities , everything you need there. Loved the welcome pack. The property provides everything you need and loved all the decor. Very quiet area. Central location and lovely little village. Highly recommend. “

„The Landlord (better Landlady) has been very friendly and extremly helpful! We were sure to find the way to that house very easy with google-navy. BUT the Landlady wrote us before starting a better way to reach "The Fold" without problems. With her help we really arrived without problems. Sometimes we trusted google-navy- and suddenly we found ourselves in the darkness in between 20 sheeps in a very small briddleway. Better not to use google!!! „This was our 2nd stay in Carr House. It’s a great home with fantastic outside space. We love Kirkby Lonsdale and visit at least once a year. We have stayed in many properties all of which have been lovely in their own way. Carr House is our favourite though. Great experience from communication with Clare and ease of check in and check out. We hope to return again! “

„Fantastic home on the lake with gorgeous grounds and views. Plenty of rooms to spread out and have privacy yet also large family rooms for gathering together for meals and games. Hosts were excellent and very responsive with tips for local restaurants. Overall a magnificent property and we hope to return! “

„We were a party of 10, getting together to celebrate the 60th birthday party of 2 family members. The house was beautiful, plenty of room for everyone, although to be honest we spend most of our time in the cosy but large kitchen and adjacent games room. Many period features allowed you to really experience how they used to love. Kirby Stephen high street was a stones throw away, making it convenient for local shops and pubs. Would highly recommend for a large family get together“

„Everyone loved San Ging. Everything you could ever need to enjoy a wonderful break. Great location with mountain views. Such a peaceful time for my friends and family. "Außenanlagen, äußeres Erscheinungsbild sehr gepflegt, sehr schönes, viktorianischesGebäude. Fenster nur minimal zu öffnen, Aussicht auf Mülltonnen, Badezimmer renovierungsbedürftig. Abendessen, 3- Gang- Menu akzeptabel, aber Preis- Leistungs - Verhältnis stimmt nicht. Die oben angeführten Kritikpunkte werden wahrscheinlich relativiert bei schönem Wetter durch die landschaftlich herrliche Umgebung und die damit verbundenen vielfältigen Freizeitmöglichkeiten Wir hatten bei unserem Aufenthalt im August leider das Pech wegen des extrem schlechten Wetters - ca 14 Grad, Regen und starkem Wind- praktisch nichts im Freien unternehmen zu können. "
