„One night stay for work, free parking on drive. Nice reception from Helen. I was in room 1, which had a little fridge in room with fresh milk within. Room had a desk in it to work at, as well as another chair to sit in. Ensuite was good with large shower. TV on wall was okay, bed was comfortable. The breakfast (included in the price I paid) was good, nice plate of fresh fruit on table and I had the cooked breakfast (which was cooked to order). „The best Holiday Inn I've experienced. With well-furnished rooms, kept clean and in working order. Good gym setup, with a great sauna and steam room. The only downside was the frankly ridiculous price for parking on top of the price of the room.“

„That is how you imagine a good british hotel when coming from the continent. We stayed 2 nights as family. Has an old style character, but the rooms we had were renovated. Dinner, Teatime and Breakfast were good, we enjoyed it. Also the sourrounding is very nice, the kids loved the peacocks. The pool was ok, the dressing rooms was a little bit of outdated, but it seems that there are renovations ongoing. All in all a recommendation, if we would be in that area again, we would definitly come ...

„Zimmer nach vorne sind sehr laut, da direkt an der Straße. Die Fenster sind alt und sehr dünn. Die Zimmer haben ihren Charme. Gut für eine kurze Fahrt nach Milton Keynes/National Bowl (Achtung dort Parken bei einem Konzert kostete 20 Pfund!) Parken im Hotelhinterhof oder auf der Straße möglich“

„I can only say the best about Peartree Lodge. The room was comfortable and generous, everything was clean, in particular the bathroom. Tea and milk was available every day. The staff was very friendly. Questions I had sent before my arrival were answered and they were flexible regarding the check-in time. The WLAN in the room was working without problems.“

„Wir schliefen drei Nächte im Greyhound Inn. Gebucht hatten wir es mit "großem Frühstück" und es ist erstaunlich, wie man das auslegen kann. Man sollte hier seine Vorstellungen nicht zu hoch setzen. Es gab zwei verschiedene Säfte (Orange-/ Apfelsaft), vier verschiedene Cerealien und ein paar Marmeladen sowie Honig. Zusätzlich konnte man noch eine Eierspeise, wie Rührei, Speck etc. aussuchen und erhielt dazu ein viertel Toast. Damit hielt sich das große Frühstück aber schon sehr übersichtlich. ...

„I stayed here 1 night while in town for a business meeting. The hosts were super polite and extremely helpful and welcoming. My room was spacious and very clean. 0 complaints and will definitely be back here to stay for my next meeting. Great food downtown only minutes away! Wonderful place to stay and relax for work or play! “

"Das Hotel ist aus meiner Sicht leider nicht zu empfehlen. Wir waren eine Familie mit 4 Personen und haben trotz korrekter Buchung ein Zimmer mit nur 3 Betten bekommen. Nach Reklamation am Empfang musste geprüft werden ob noch ein Zimmer mit 4 Betten frei war. Dieses wurde uns nach Wartezeit dannzugewiesen. Die neue Karte funktioniere an der neuen Zimmertüre nicht, so das wir erneut zum Empfang mussten. Wir hatten 2 Nächte gebucht. Kein Zimmerservice nach dem ersten Tag und die Sauberkeit im gesamten Hotel lies zu Wünschen übrig. "
