Hotels nahe Cours Paoli (Corte)

"The hotel was okay. Pluspoints were that an early check in was possible, the rooms are clean and the beach easy accessible. So you get the essential basics you would expect. Also the receptionist is very friendly. However, the place seems to be past its best years (an ancient looking hair dryer, worn out furniture,etc), and the room come without a fridge. Also our room smelled somewhat musky (which was due to the air conditioning - it got better with the a/c off but then the room got warm). Our room was adjacent to the entry and reception as well as the bar, and the whole place was not well insulated regarding acoustics - this leads to a lot of noise with us having troubles to fall asleep or waking up early each time somebody entered or left the building. The safe has an additional physical lock, which means someone has an actual key which does not appear trustworthy. We can’t say much about the quality of the restaurants, as we did not try them, but the breakfast reminded me of the so-called breakfast you get at cheap roadside motels in the US (not worth the money, we basically started bringing our own stuff to them breakfast as a necessary addition). One last drawback is that at some point we came back to the room, which has been serviced, but the window was wide open (and we always double and triple check we don’t leave things open), which we deem less diligent as our room was on ground floor facing the road. Clearly something that should not occur."

"Teilweise war die Anlage schmutzig, Müll von den Gästen wird auch durch das Personal nicht beseitigt. Hundekot lag mitten in der Anlage. Leider hielten die Gäste es nicht für nötig es aufzuheben und das Personal schon gar nicht. Der WLAN Empfang war auf dem Zimmer schwach bis gar nicht verfügbar, in der heutigen Zeit, nicht tragbar! Grünflächen und Pool nicht wirklich gut gepflegt. Der Pool öffnet erst um 9.30 Uhr und wird um 19.00 Uhr spätestens geschlossen. Das empfinde ich für sehr früh. Im Großen und ganzen haben wir aber einen netten Urlaub gehabt. Die Größe des Pools und die Nähe zum Meer, war sehr schön. "

"Résidence avec piscine et mer à deux pas. Juste parfait pour une famille avec des enfants de 13 et 10 ans. Cela permet de leur laisser une belle autonomie sans inquiétude. La plage est propre et pas très fréquentée. Les installations de la résidence sont top et le personnel très accessible et à l'écoute. En résumé, une très belle expérience que nous recommandons sans hésitation. Au plaisir de revenir. "
